CHRIS SARFIN is a director, producer, and writer with a sharp eye for immersive, detail-driven storytelling. His work fuses classic filmmaking techniques with modern style, always anchored by themes of resilience and hope that stick with audiences long after the credits roll.
Storytelling has been a part of Chris’s life since childhood, when he used a toy projector to bring his illustrated characters to life on the living room wall. After graduating from Hofstra University’s Film Studies & Production program, he jumped straight into Hollywood, starting at Paramount Pictures before joining the critically acclaimed production company Zadan/Meron Productions on the Universal Studios lot.
Chris helped develop a wide range of projects, from feature films and TV series to Broadway and live shows. Since then, he has contributed to over a hundred productions and collaborated with some of the most influential names in Hollywood across film, television, and music, while refining his own voice as a filmmaker.
His most recent work includes writing, producing, and directing the short films Scavenger and the fantasy short Velora. He organized his filmmaking into “collections,” each showcasing a distinct style.
For Chris, storytelling is more than entertainment. His goal is to create experiences that leave audiences walking out of the theater feeling better than when they walked in.
